Mark 6:2

Mark 6:2

And on the Sabbath he began to teach in the synagogue, and many who heard him were astonished, saying, “Where did this man get these things? What is the wisdom given to him? How are such mighty works done by his hands?
Mark 6:2 ESV

Isn’t it interesting to think that a whole group of people, Including family could look at and hear Jesus sharing the Father’s heart and wisdom and it feel foreign to them? What does It mean when your own family can’t recognize the voice of God? I’d say that they’re distant from God and have a misunderstanding of who he is. The Holy Spirit of God lives in everyone who receives Jesus’ free gift of salvation through his death and resurrection, and if you are in relationship with him, it’s only natural that you’ll share about God who loves you and who you love. Like best friends with inside jokes, people will ask you, “Where did you get these things? What is this wisdom given to you?” Don’t be offended, just smile and know that it means you know the Father.
