If any of you know me closely you know I love me some ESV. But, I had to share the niv translation of this scripture. It ends, “he (God) rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Who wants a reward? Who doesn’t like to get prizes!? Scripture says that the Father desires for us to know him, and in seeking him genuinely, from the heart, he rewards us! The passage prior to this references a scripture in Genesis where a man named Enoch walked with God, and was taken up to the Father – never tasting death! Like what!? I want a reward like that. What kind of reward would you like?
